We usually keep our clothing iron on a shelf up high in the storage closet. Our suit cases are underneath the shelf in the same closet. Today, in order to return ten rather large, rental snow shoes (a funny story in itself) to BYU required my retrieval of our largest suitcase, in the very back of this storage closet. Unfortunately for me, the cord to the iron was wrapped around some of the smaller suit cases in the front of the closet. It came crashing down aiming right for my head and neck.
By some miracle (angelic interference is my vote), I felt the heavy iron come whizzing past my head, mere centimeters from the right side of my neck. I literally felt the whoosh of air that followed its course. In my astonishment, I looked down at the heavy metal object. There was no way it should’ve missed me. I quickly knelt and offered a prayer of gratitude and determined to find a new storage place for our iron.

Oh no! Well Im glad it missed you!
Don't you love those "coincidences" that happen in life? I'm glad you were able to recognize that it wasn't a coincidence. It is so nice to know that you find the tender mercies of the Lord when you have your eyes open to them.
Love you!
Oh my Goodness!!! Im so happy you are ok!!! That is so scary! Go Gaurdian Angel! I'm glad you have one! -or several ;) lol I love you!
Amanda would probably enjoy the definition I've heard so often of coincidence. (Although she's probably heard it before.) A coincidence is a miracle where God says anonymous. (Except to those of us who know, of course.) :)
I haven't heard that definition before, and I love it! Ah, I finally have a good definition to explain my thoughts. Thanks Sara Lyn.
This is one of those stories a mother's heart can do without!
Or perhaps I should take solace in knowing you are watched over so lovingly.
